Biography

Masoud Fayyazzadeh-Fayazof (born April 7, 1984) is an Iranian songwriter, music producer, and electric guitar player from Mashhad.

He began playing the keyboard at the age of 7 and bought his first guitar at 13. He learned to play guitar by covering songs from artists he admired, such as Nirvana, Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Deep Purple, Radiohead, and Tool.

Masoud studied Applied Mathematics at Khayyam University and graduated with a degree in Informatics Engineering in 2007.

Specializing in rock and blues genres and their sub-genres, Masoud formed the alternative-progressive rock band Minus in 2005. He has produced four albums with this band to date. In addition to his work with Minust, he started a collaborative project called Baadzang with his friend Alireza Ahmadzadeh, a talented songwriter and piano

Masoud has also produced and played for various artists, including Navid Arbabian, Mohsen Namjoo, Hadi Pakzad, Hamed Behdad, Mud Band and Pooyan Ghandi
